Senior Scientist, Criminal Justice

Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. ("AHP"), is seeking a Senior Scientist with a specialty in criminal justice research. The successful candidate will lead and manage highly complex research and evaluation projects related to criminal justice interventions. AHP is specifically interested in candidates with specialized knowledge and research experience in the areas of law-enforcement and community partnerships; law enforcement interventions; specialty courts; correctional based drug and mental health programming, including medicated assisted treatment for opioid use disorder; and re-entry and community supervision interventions.This position is an excellent alternative to academia, particularly for new or recent Ph.D.s and is a great chance for your work to have real-world application.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
