Sensory Technician II

TheSensory Technician II will take an active role in new product initiatives byleading sensory testing for the development and commercialization of brewer andbeverage products, from bench-top to pilot plant. This role supports allactivities related to the sensory testing for development: explorationand information gathering, feasibility, method development, data collection,bench-top formulation and product commercialization.
Whatyou will do:
Work with supervisor to execute necessary activities including sensory evaluation, shelf life testing and exploration of new products, methods, and technology
Maintain and run a neat, clean and safe laboratory workspace
Create professional, productive and friendly team atmosphere in the lab where multiple projects will be worked on simultaneously
Maintain support systems and infrastructure regarding work activities. This will include but not be limited to: ordering materials, maintaining inventory, operating lab equipment and instruments and coordinating others that are conducting these activities
Development of instrumental and sensory methods
Organize sensory product performance testing.
Understanding of basic sensory testing and procedures (difference testing, descriptive, consumer testing)
Execute small scale consumer tests
Communicate with cross-functional teams
Organize and execute product shelf-life studies
Recommend product development next steps to ensure finished product quality
Maintain and keep up-to-date laboratory notebook to KDP standards
Understand and apply confidential business practices and intellectual property protection
Look for new ideas and improvements in all phases of the job; participate in product and approach idea generation
Build and use internal (KDP) and external resource network
Follow all Keurig Dr. Pepper policies and procedures.
Whatyou must have:
Associate's degree/2 Yr. technical degree in functional area (ex: Chemistry, Food Science, Mechanical Eng., etc), BS, or equivalent; 3-6 years of relevant experience.
Willingness and ability to travel 15 to 30% annually, both domestic and international
Strong problem-solving skills, understanding of the scientific method, curiosity and eagerness to learn
Solid math, science, written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong organizational ability with attention to detail
Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety
Ability to uphold safety standards and participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job
Ability to interact well with others, be a self-starter, and follow instructions

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
