Solutions Engineer II (OCR Automation)
We have an immediate opening for this key role in our Professional Services group. As a Solutions Engineer II (OCR Automation), you will perform a number of roles in the implementation of ScerIS solutions that are primarily focused on developing and implementing solutions that leveraging OCR technology using both third party products, as well as, our own software. These custom solutions are tailored to the specific needs of the client. A thorough understanding of requirements gathering, business principles and technical skills is required to be successful in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Assists with identification and documentation of business and technical needs and objectives, primarily in accounts payable automation and similar financial solutions. Work with both technical and non-technical resources in order to design a complete solution.
Conceptualize, design, test and implement a variety of manual and automated data verification processes of printed and handwritten forms using OCR products.
Provide both in-person and remote (web-based) training on the solution to technical and non-technical audiences.
Assists with maintaining specifications, configuration documentation and other project documentation
Install and configure ScerIS software and databases
Provide technical support use of the solutions
Experience Required
Understandingexperience with batch based information processing
Experience with ETL (extract, transform, load): Importing information from outside sources
Knowledge of Windows Server 200320082012

Education
