, based in Boston, MA, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager for a newly established role, prompted by the growth of its U.
S.
operations.
The position, reporting to the Director of Finance, involves overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
The ideal candidate should be capable of thriving in a dynamic company environment and streamlining accounting responsibilities.
Key
Responsibilities:
Supervise the month, quarter, and year-end closing processes.
Manage various transactional accounting areas, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Payroll.
Generate financial statements and ad hoc financial reports.
Take ownership of and maintain the integrity of the General Ledger.
Provide support to the Director of Finance in all accounting activities.
Develop and expand financial systems, financial controls, and processes to accommodate the company's growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
8
years of experience in corporate accounting.
Proven track record of managing accounting personnel.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
