This role is for a Sourcing AnalystThe current focus of this team is assessing and mitigating risks to the Laboratory of the DoD's implementation of the CMMC Program and other cybersecurity related supply chain compliance requirements.
This position may partner with the Business System Analytics (BSA) Team and the Laboratory's Small Business Office in connection with various supplier vetting and management actions.
Familiarity with a business or administrative environment are required.
Duties include:
Primary direct support to the CMMC Readiness Assessment Team, to include but not limited to:
Generating reports and analyzing supplier dataDevelopment of Report and Presentation materialsSupporting development and delivery of internal and external communication and outreach plansEngaging with internal stakeholders and external suppliersSecondary Support of Supplier Management initiatives, to include but not limited to:
Supplier monitoring and educational outreachCollection and on-going verification of supplier capability statusEngagement with internal stakeholders on resolution of supplier issues Assist internal Project Lead on Vendor Performance AssessmentsSupporting supplier identification and developmentRequirements:
Bachelor's degree is required.
A degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field is desirable but not required3-5 years of applicable work experienceHigh proficiency with MS Office products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is requiredGood problem solving, communications (written & oral) and organizational skillsCandidates must be innovative and motivated self-starters able to work independently, or with a group, to achieve requirements and problem solve.
Preferred Skills:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
